Revelation
It is, on this day, March 21, 2003. I went back to Ken's home the day before, Thursday, March 20, 2003. I was in the car with him and his Mother. They were playing some Disturbed off the CD player. My favorite Disturbed song came up, and I decided to sing along with Ken. This song was "Down with the Sickness". This has suddenly become one of my favorite songs. EVER. It perfectly reflects my feelings during third, fourth, and part of fifth grade.
Drowning deep in my sea of loathing, Broken your servant I kneel. (will you give in to me) It seems what's left of my Human side is slowly changing... In me... (will you give in to me). Looking at my own Reflection, When suddenly it changes, Violently it changes. There is no turning back now, You have woken up the Demon, in MMMEEEEEEEEE!! (we all know the Chorus)
I can see inside you, the Sickness is rising, Don't try to deny what you feel. (will you give in to me). It seems that all that was good has died, And is Decaying... Me. (will you give in to me). It seems you're having some trouble, In dealing with these changes, Living with these Changes, The world is a scary place, Now that you have woken up the Demon... In MMMMEEEEEEE!!!!
Anyone who knows anything about those years, those years in between third and sixth grades... They will be the ones who will understand. And I feel sorry for the poor Sheep who Don't understand, and who never will understand. If you were to understand, I would be your greatest Asset on the Planet. But NO, you all have to hide behind your looks, two-hundred dollar clothes, and social status, too afraid to do anything but cower in fear of losing those few material and social things precious to you. I feel sorry for those of whom do not understand. But I pity those who do.
